Christchurch

Touring South Island
“Needing to justify my idea for a long haul concert break Down Under to a city I had been to many times before, I decided instead to make my trip a New Zealand vacation with a stop off in Melbourne for the concert on the way home. I’d never visited New Zealand before so it would be somewhere new to explore…”
I joined a small group tour of New Zealand’s South Island looping around from Christchurch to Lake Tekapo, Queenstown, Wanaka, Franz Joseph and back to Christchurch on the Tranz Alpine Express.
