Touring Australia’s East Coast

I spent some time travelling up and down Australia’s east coast. Read about all my adventures here:

Starting my trip with a few days in Sydney over New Year.

I spent some time based in Airlie Beach to explore the Whitsundays.

Travelling north to explore Townsville and the nearby Magnetic Island.

I took the Greyhound to Cairns where I spent some time in the city along with visiting Green Island and the Atherton Tablelands.

Joining a small group flexi-tour, I travelled south for a rainforest adventure in Tully.

Continuing south, I briefly returned to Airlie Beach to spend more time in the Whitsundays.

Heading to the Capricorn Coast, I spent a fun day in Emu Park.

Travelling to my base of Rainbow Beach, I spent 2 days on Fraser Island.

I visited Noosa on Australia’s Sunshine Coast and took a coastal walk through its National Park.

I returned to Brisbane spending a day at the nearby Australia Zoo as well as exploring in the city.

The last stop on my tour of the east coast was at Byron Bay for a spot of kayaking and a walk to Cape Byron Lighthouse.

Returning to Sydney, I spent the last day of my trip visiting Watsons Bay.
